2008 Livable Communities Awards
Modern, sleek, but above all, comfortable and accessible. These are just some of the words used to describe the designs of the four winners of the 2008 Livable Communities Award competition.
This is the second year AARP and the National Association of Home Builders have teamed up to showcase the cutting-edge creations of forward- looking companies that know the value of universal design.
Their plans combine accessible aesthetics with ingenious elements that work beautifully for residents of all ages and abilities.
This year's awards are given in three categories: best developer, best builder, and best remodel.
